July 6, 2015 at 7:30 PM - Board of Education Budget Amendment Hearing

Rationale: 

In compliance with Nebraska State Statutes, the purpose of this Special Meeting is to conduct a public hearing regarding the proposed amendment to the 2014-2015 Special Building Fund Budget of Disbursements from $22,500,000 to $54,500,000 to accommodate the passing of the bond issue after the original budget was adopted.   This amendment does not change the taxing requirement established in September of 2014. 

Notice to visitors: If you wish to speak, please obtain a “Request to be Heard” form from the entry table and return the completed form to the table attendant or the Board of Education Director.

The agenda will be kept current and available for public inspection in the office of the Secretary of the Board of Education at the Administrative Building during regular working hours. 

Pursuant to Section 84-1412 of the Nebraska Statutes, the public is hereby informed that a current copy of the Nebraska Open Meetings Act is posted in the Board meeting room on the north wall.

Rationale:  To hear support, opposition, criticism, suggestions or observations of taxpayers related to the amendment of the 2014-15 Special Building Fund budget.
