1. Call to Order
Discussion:
The Executive Committee of the Marshall County Board of Education, comprised of Chairman of the Board Mike Keny and Director of Schools Jackie Abernathy, spoke by phone Tuesday, June 24, 2014, at approximately 11:15 a.m. for an emergency session. The meeting was held to approve carpet bids so that carpet in various locations at Forrest and MCHS can be replaced before the start of the 2014-2015 school year.

Discussion:
Bids were submitted by Bill Derryberry and The Floor Shop. The Floor Shop was the low bidder with $28,079.00 and a completion date of 7/31/14 if awarded the bid by 6/28/14; Bill Derryberry's bid was $28,810.00 with a 40-day completion timeline.
