March 27, 2014 at 2:00 PM - Food Service Monthly Meeting

Rationale:  Meeting Attendees: Danielle Orozco, Lilas Harris, Vicki Mefford, Jamie Ramirez, Sherri Sobota, Joy Jenkins, Nellie Muehlich, LuAnn Bender, Jeff Andel, Shelley Friesz, Marlene Hartman, Stephan Grammer, Dr. Hoesing

1.  Food Service Finance Report:  See Attached Finance Report

2.  Summer Food Service:  We need to begin hiring for the summer food service program.  Jeff Andel will work with Dave Gibbons on summer staff for the food service program and the summer school.  Jeff will visit with the building principals and food service personnel on ways to promote the summer program.

3.  Summer Employment:  If you are interested in being considered for employment this summer, please let Jeff Andel know and he will work with Dave Gibbons on employee placement for the summer.

4.  2014-15 Staff Contracts:  The board negotiations committee will begin working on support staff salaries for the 2014-15 school year.  Topics for discussion with the board??

5.  Strategic Plan:  The board committee met to discuss the strategic planning process for support programs.  We have to develop and submit a plan for the 2014-15 school year on ways to improve and promote the food service program, engage our students and parents, and advertise our program.  See attachment.
