VIII. NOTICE OF SETTLEMENT OF CLAIM

VIII.1. Alejandra Bencomo Leon and Luis H. Ballesteros Duarte individually and on behalf of Leonardo Ballesteros Bencomo asserted a claim for damages arising from injuries Leonardo Ballesteros Bencomo sustained from an accident that occurred on September 27, 2022 while Leonardo Ballesteros Bencomo was a student at Chase County Schools and a settlement was reached. A full release of liability has been executed in exchange for a lump sum settlement of $178,000.00 which will be paid by ALICAP, Chase County School’s risk liability pool. A copy of the settlement agreement will be available upon request at the meeting.
