NDE not present. Discussion regarding the LTRS (Learning the Science of Reading) Project through MTSS. NDE is asking for volunteers for a two year intensive training for this project. Once trained, they go out to any school that need training.

ESPD Chair shared they have not met. They will meet in May. They will have the internship coordinators from UNL, UNK, and UNO at their meetings to discuss shortages of specialty areas. NDE is looking for someone from Central NE to help work on the paraprofessional course modules.

3.1.4. SRS Staff Report

Technology Director shared that they continue to address fixes and have begin to look forward to next phases (504 plan). They have fixed 9 fixes since last month. They have a check in meeting with the SRS Advisory Committee to help find out what their priorities are moving forward. The Advisory Team will help in building the 504. They are also looking at an administrative checklist to hel them know what is due, over due, not finished, etc. Discussion on those who want to leave the SRS system and trying to gain them back.
