ITBS was taken the week of Sept. 29 for grades 2, 4, 6, 8 - I will share results when we have them. |

3.2. Writing Curriculum Committee
Rationale:
Writing Curriculum Committee - will begin work to create a “Guaranteed Writing Curriculum” for K-12. |

3.3. State of Schools Report
Rationale:
SOSR - released Oct 24 (changed from Oct. 22) - schools will be “Not Met” in regards to AYP because the goal was unrealistically set at 100% |

Rationale:
AYP update - North elementary will be in Year 1 of "needs improvement" which requires special action. See handout

3.4. Instructional Framework
Rationale:
Instructional Framework - 60 teachers and admin. are providing input and feedback about which model (Marzano or Danielson) best fits what we do. |

3.5. Curriculum Cycle
Rationale:
Curriculum Cycle will be moved from “flexible” to “planned 8 year” adoption cycle. Drafts of process/forms being reviewed by admin. team at this time. They will be shared with this committee and approved by the board in future. We will want to look at a fiscal plan for when we are ready to purchase textbooks (‘16-17) or hold off starting next fall. |
