5. Introduction of Speakers
Discussion:
Loomis Education Association and Staff- Nina Straatmann and Eileen Anderson-iPad Presentation. Science & English students worked on a project using electronic temperature probes with wi-fi and writing instructions on how to use the probes.
Christine Butler- Relay for Life Chairperson. They would like to host it in Loomis on July 11. 4:00 p.m.- midnight. They will have a DJ, need to use the lights and the concessions building. May want to use some bleachers and picnic tables.

Discussion:
The Preschool Committee met on Jan. 27th. The following were discussed:
- 2015-16 Preschool Handbook
- Tuition rates for 2015-16 $100/month plus lunch, families may apply for reduced price tuition which is $50 or free.
- Applications- Due March 20th
- Priority Placement of applicants
- Discipline procedure added to handbook

7. Administrative Reports

7.1. Principal
Discussion:
Work Study Program-Possible requirements would be second semester for seniors only.
NESA Testing- 4-8-11th Writing. Remaining testing will begin March 24th
UNK Teacher Education 100 students- will visit Loomis on Feb. 19th

7.2. Superintendent
Discussion:
Option Enrollments Approved for 2015-16-
Jonathan Johnson- Alternative Kindergarten
Kylee O'Dell- Kindergarten
Benjamin's Landscaping- Will continue using Benjamin's for lawn care.
Retirement- Larry Kimberly has submitted his letter of Retirement. He last day at Loomis will be May 29, 2015
Monsanto Grant- The Loomis/Bertrand FFA will receive a $2500 grant from Monsanto.

8. Public Forum
Discussion:
Bud Refior said that he had heard there were concerns from board members about getting the windows installed. He will get to them as soon as he can. If there are any students that are interested in construction, he would welcome them to help.

Salary increase from $71,740 to $74,740 for the 2015-16 School year.

Discussion:
Salary increase from $97,587 to $100,587 for 2015/16 School year.

10.3. Host Relay for Life

Motion to the request for hosting the annual Relay for Life event at the school this summer Passed with a motion by Board Member #1 and a second by Board Member #2.
Discussion:
Christine Butler is requesting permission to hold the annual Relay for Life event at the school this summer.

10.4. Preschool Tuition Fee for 2015-16

Motion to approve the $100/month tuition rate and lunch payments as presented for preschool for 2015-16 Passed with a motion by Board Member #1 and a second by Board Member #2.
Discussion:
The Preschool Advisory Committee is requesting to leave the Preschool Tuition fee at $100/month for the 2015-16 school year. Students will be charged for lunch in addition to paying tuition.

10.7. Loomis/Bertrand Interlocal Ag/FFA Agreement
Recommended Motion(s):
Motion to approve the Interlocal Agreement between Loomis Public School and Bertrand Community School for the employment of the Ag/FFA teacher Passed with a motion by Board Member #1 and a second by Board Member #2.
Discussion:
Loomis will reimburse Bertrand for one half of the Agriculture Education teacher to be paid on October 15th and June 15th.
