Motion to form the following committees: Personnel - Raun and Grams; Policies - Glanzer and Carpenter; Buildings/Grounds - Grams, Jacobsen, and Carpenter; Finance - Jacobsen, Grams, and Raun; Curriculum - Rhynalds and Raun; Americanism - Glanzer, Grams, and Raun; Legislation - Glanzer and Rhynalds Passed with a motion by Craig Grams and a second by Rusty Rhynalds.

Motion to approve the January 11 meeting minutes as presented Passed with a motion by Justin Glanzer and a second by Ken Carpenter.

Motion to approve the Financial Reports as presented Passed with a motion by Rusty Rhynalds and a second by Kevin Raun.

Motion to approve the consideration of bills from the General Fund Passed with a motion by Kevin Raun and a second by Justin Glanzer.

Motion to approve the ESU 10 SPED contract for 2016-17 Passed with a motion by Craig Grams and a second by Ken Carpenter.

Motion that the Board of Education of this School District should, and does hereby, ratify the change orders and construction change directives for the new Minden High School building project approved pursuant to the Minden Public Schools -- Board of Education Protocol Re: 2014 Bond Issue Projects - Construction Change Orders and Construction Change Directives (Protocol) listed on Exhibit #1 attached hereto, having a total cost of $106,394.22, and further, upon such ratification, hereby renews and confirms the authority of the Superintendent of Schools under the Protocol to approve change orders and construction change directives up to the dollar amounts set forth in the Protocol Passed with a motion by Ken Carpenter and a second by Justin Glanzer.

Motion to approve the ESU 11 SPED contract for 2016-17 Passed with a motion by Justin Glanzer and a second by Richard Jacobsen.

Motion to approve membership in Nebraska Association of School Boards Passed with a motion by Rusty Rhynalds and a second by Craig Grams.

At 5:21 pm, motion to enter closed session for the purposes of discussion of strategy with respect to negotiation of the purchase of real property and attendant option to purchase, purchase agreement, leasehold agreement, or other interest in real property for a bus barn, and for the protection of the public interest Passed with a motion by Craig Grams and a second by Justin Glanzer.

At 5:39 pm, motion to exit closed session Passed with a motion by Craig Grams and a second by Ken Carpenter.
