(Planning Commission recommends approval.)

7.A.1. Ordinance No. 18-01 approving rezoning.

7.B. Public hearing - Consider new and amended Blight and Substandard Area Designation for areas in Columbus, Nebraska, prepared by RDG Planning and Design, dated November 2017. (Planning Commission continued discussion.)

13.A. Application of Casey's General Store #1965 for addition to Class "B" liquor license at 2671 33 Avenue.

13.B. Plans, specifications, and estimate of cost in the amount of $435,000 for Concrete Paving Improvements 2018 - Phase 1 and authorization for staff to advertise for bids. (Specifications are on file in the Engineering Department.)

13.C. Plans, specifications, and estimate of cost in the amount of $450,000 for Asphalt Paving Improvements 2018 and authorization for staff to advertise for bids. (Specifications are on file in the Engineering Department.)

13.D. Purchase of three mid-sized utility vehicles for Police Department from current Nebraska State Bid contract in the amount of $33,114 per vehicle and additional equipment in the approximate amount of $17,935 per vehicle.

13.E. Quote from Eller Heating, Air Conditioning, & Plumbing, LLC in the amount of $39,500 for heat pump system at City Hall.

14. RESOLUTIONS

14.A. Resolution No. R18-05 approving lease to hangar aircraft with Stuart Cromwell, LLC and Fly-X, LLC at Columbus Municipal Airport. (Board of Airport Commissioners recommends approval.)

14.B. Resolution No. R18-06 approving lease to hangar aircraft with Edward Bloemker and R. Kevin Bloemker at Columbus Municipal Airport. (Board of Airport Commissioners recommends approval.)

14.C. Resolution No. R18-07 approving agreement with The Schemmer Associates, Inc. in the amount of $49,600 for an American's with Disabilities Act Transition Plan Implementation Update.

14.D. Resolution No. R18-08 approving a two year Option to Purchase Real Estate Agreement with C. Ronald and Charlotte Lambert and Randall Properties for three parcels of land for a possible Public Safety Facility site; the cost for said option is $100 and if the option is exercised the total purchase price will be $180,000.

15. ORDINANCES ON FIRST READING

15.A. Ordinance No. 18-02 amending Section 150.020 of Chapter 150 of Title XV of Ordinance No. 05-47 (Columbus City Code) to adopt the National Electrical Code, 2017 Edition,as sponsored by the National Fire Protection Association under the auspices of the American National Standard Institute.
