3.1. Consider L.A.A.F.D. Grant applications.
Recommended Motion(s):  Motion to approve the scholarship request in the amount of $80,000. Motion to approve the dual credit request in the amount of $12,000. Passed with a motion by Board Member #1 and a second by Board Member #2.
3.2. Discuss and consider the need for a joint public agency (JPA) and review, consider, and act on a proposed resolution and the Joint Public Agency Agreement creating Pathways 2 Tomorrow.
Recommended Motion(s):  Motion to table the proposed resolution and the Joint Public Agency Agreement creating Pathways 2 Tomorrow until the January Board Meeting. Passed with a motion by Board Member #1 and a second by Board Member #2.
3.3. Consider a recommendation to purchase furniture and technology equipment for the new elementary school.
3.4. Discuss and consider items from Negotiations.(Executive Session)
Recommended Motion(s):  Motion to enter into executive session to discuss personnel matters. Motion passes to enter into executive session to discuss personnel matters. Motion to close executive session. Motion to approve a $500 increase to the base salary for the 2017-2018 and 2018-2019 school years and a dual choice insurance plan of $900 deductible and a $3500 deductible with a a Health Savings Plan and the 2017-2018/ 2018-2019 Negotiated Agreement as presented. Passed with a motion by Board Member #1 and a second by Board Member #2.
3.5. Evaluate the superintendent’s job performance (Executive Session)
Recommended Motion(s):  Motion to enter into executive session for the purpose of discussing personnel. Motion to close the executive session. Passed with a motion by Board Member #1 and a second by Board Member #2.
