6. Council member ____ introduced and read Annexation Ordinance 998 for the second (2nd) time; an Ordinance to annex a certain territory adjoining the present corporate boundaries of the City of St. Paul, to incorporate the same within the corporate boundaries of the City of St. Paul, pursuant to the provisions of Section 19-5001 ET SEQ., revised Statutes of Nebraska, and to provide an effective date for this ordinance. The proposed property to be annexed is more described as the remaining part of Tax Lot 13, in part of the Southeast Quarter (SE1/4) of Section Three (3), Township Fourteen (14) North, Range Ten (10) West of the 6th P.M. in Howard County, Nebraska, EXCEPTING a tract therein conveyed to Galen Falk and Jane A. Falk as recorded in Deed Records Book 46, Page 536 of the Records of the County Clerk of Howard County, Nebraska and EXCEPTING a tract therein conveyed to the City of St. Paul, Nebraska as recorded in Deed Records, Book 14, Page 1754 of the Records of the County Clerk of Howard County, Nebraska. The property is identified for tax purposes as Parcel #47-0860185. Annexation Ordinance #998 will be read one more time on Monday, March 4, 2019 at a City Council meeting to satisfy State Statute. Following the successful adoption of the preliminary and final plat of this subject land, the property will be identified as the Middle Loup Subdivision.

15. Discuss - Approve / Deny City Clerk Connie Jo Beck's decision to terminate Ms. Valerie Killinger's employment which was grieved by IBEW Union 1597.
The City Clerk's decision to terminate was appealed by IBEW Union 1597 to Mayor Joel M. Bergman and was approved by Mayor Joel M. Bergman. The Mayor's decision was then appealed to the City Council with information presented on the grievance by the IBEW Union 1597 representatives on behalf of Ms. Valerie Killinger; Attorney Jerry Pigsley represented Connie Jo Beck on behalf of the City of St. Paul at its regular City Council meeting on February 4, 2019. Pursuant to the Agreement with the IBEW Union 1597, the City Council is now to make a determination on the grievance based on the information presented at the previous City Council meeting on February 4, 2019.
