February 11, 2016 at 7:00 PM - February Board of Education Regular Meeting

1. Call the Meeting to Order The regular meeting of the Maywood Board of Education was called to order by President Lance Hastings at 7:00 p.m. It was announced that the Open Meetings Act is posted in the Media Center, and recognize that the meeting notice was printed in the Frontier County Enterprise and posted at the Maywood U.S. Post Office, Community First Bank-Maywood, Maywood Public School, Stockville U.S. Post Office, and the Wellfleet U.S. Post Office.

2. Board Member Attendance All members were in attendance.

3. Community Input There was no community input.

4. Board of Education Reports Sheri Hartley reported on a meeting that she recently attended. Lance Hastings requested that all board committees meet.

8.1. Principal Report Mr. Brown reported on the following: National FFA week and state competition qualifiers, Building and Construction Competition in North Platte, football schedule for 16-17, remaining February activities.

8.2. Superintendent Report Mr. Benjamin’s report included the following: Security camera system complete, 2016-17 technology purchases, draft of proposed 2016-17 school calendar that aligns closely with Hayes Center’s calendar, possible 2016-17 facilities and maintenance projects.
