4.a. Annual Student Fees Hearing. #5416
On or before August 1, every school board is required to hold a public hearing proposing a student fee policy. In the meeting, the board shall review the amount of money collected from student fees (per policy) the prior year. They shall then propose and adopt the upcoming school year policy and publish it in the student handbook. The written Meal Charge Policy and guidelines shall be in place and ready to be communicated to staff and households (NEB. REV. STAT. § 79-2,134).
1. Review of the amount of money collected from students pursuant to, and the use of waivers provided in, the student fee policies of the District for the 2026-2027 school year.
2. Hold Public Hearing to discuss, consider, and receive input on a proposed Student Fee Policy.  The public will be given the opportunity to present information and opinions on a proposed Student Fee Policy.
3. Discuss, consider, and take action on Student Fees for 2026-2027 school year.

4.b. Review Parental and Family Engagement Policy. #6400
Annual Review of involvement of parents, guardians, and educational decision makers; public school district; adopt policy. (NEB. REV. STAT. § 79-531).
1. Hold Public Hearing to discuss, consider, and receive input on the Parental Involvement Policy.  The public will be given the opportunity to present information and opinions on a proposed Parental Involvement Policy.
2. Discuss, consider, and take action to either alter the Parental Involvement Policy and then adopt the policy as altered, or to reaffirm the Parental Involvement Policy.
