1.1. Call meeting to order
Rationale:
Executive/Closed Session may be necessary during this meeting for either: 1) Protection of the public interest; or, 2) The prevention of needless injury to the reputation of an individual, and if the individual has not requested a public meeting. Recognition of Visitors: The Board of Education encourages citizens to take advantage of the opportunity to address the Board at its regular meetings. Such opportunities will ordinarily be limited to the, “Communications from the Public” section of the meeting. When there are several persons who wish to address the Board at a meeting, the Board President shall have the authority to limit the amount of time provided to each speaker. In compliance with Nebraska statute 84-1412 the Open Meetings Act is posted within the meeting room. |

1.4. Freeman Falcon Spotlight
Rationale:
Solomon Delhay earned academic honors from the College Board Rural or Small Town National Recognition Program. The programs celebrate the hard work of thousands of high school students nationwide to help them showcase their strong academic performance. Eligible students must meet the following criteria to qualify:
·Earn a GPA of B+ (equal to at least 3.3 or 87%-89%) or higher. ·PSAT/NMSQT assessment scores that are within the top 10% of assessment takers in each state for each award program. ·Attend school in a rural area or small town. Braedon Otto qualified for the Nebraska National Guard in April and completed Basic Training in Fort Leonard Wood, MO. He returned to home last week to begin his senior year. Congratulations Braedon on this accomplishment! |
