Discussion and possible motion to enter closed session pursuant to Neb. Rev. Stat. § 84-1410(1)(a), for consultation with the City Attorney and a litigation strategy session concerning the September 23, 2026 written stormwater/drainage complaint and potential property-damage claim submitted regarding property located at 511 17th Street, Auburn, Nebraska, including potential litigation, legal rights and obligations, and protection of the City's legal interests.
 

K.5.b. Open Session - Consideration of Engineering Investigation and Professional Services
Discussion, consideration, and possible action to authorize the City Attorney to engage JEO Consulting Group to provide engineering consultation, review relevant drainage infrastructure and historical project records, investigate alleged stormwater runoff and erosion conditions affecting the property located at 511 17th Street, and provide technical analysis and assistance to the City Attorney in evaluating the claim and preparing an appropriate response on behalf of the City, subject to mutually acceptable terms and applicable expenditure limitations.
