Your insights are welcomed as part of the Board’s business meeting. “Public Participation” is an opportunity to present brief comments or pose questions to the board for consideration or follow-up. The Board would like to recognize the efforts of our counselor, Mrs. DeLeon, in planning and implementing the first Cowboy Career Conversation event to expose secondary students to careers in agriculture! The event was recognized and got a shout-out by CDE! Thank you to our families and teachers for engaging in parent-teacher conferences and thank you to our nutrition services department for their work preparing two delicious dinners. October is National Principal's Month, and we would like to recognize and say thank you to Kathy Garcia, principal of Moffat PK-12 School, and Thomas Cleary, Director of Crestone Charter School, for their crucial work in supporting our students, teachers, and communities. October 2nd was National Custodian Day, and we want to thank our custodial personnel for their hard work in keeping our schools clean and safe for students and teachers. Thank you to our Fire and Sheriff's Departments for coming out to spend time with our students, teaching them about safety. The board recognizes the work being done by Moffat PK-12 staff engaged in Building Resilient and Restorative Classrooms training — Thank you for your commitment.
