COVID-19 Graduation, Grading, and Progress Resolution
Rationale:
This resolution gives us the latitude to do what it takes to make sure students finish the school year, Graduate, are graded, and progress as appropriate. The intent is to work with the admins along with board guidance following the current policy and procedure if at all possible. This gives us the ability to not get hung up in a technicality regarding curriculum or grading in the unique and uncertain time.

Graduation Ceremony 2020
Rationale:
There remains uncertainty with Graduation due to the COVID-19 situation. The Administration's sole intent is to work collaboratively under the advice of the board and input from parents and seniors in order to plan an appropriate event that will recognize and celebrate the class of 2020.
Due to the uncertain climate, it is difficult to make promises to parents and their senior children regarding specifics with any given approach to Graduation. The administration would like to receive input from the board of education on the matter. In addition, the board is being asked to consider passing a possible motion to authorize the Administration to make final decisions regarding Graduation. |
Adjourn
Rationale:
The 2nd meeting of the Curriculum, Americanism, and Multicultural Education Committee will be at 7:30 pm on Monday, May 11, 2020, followed by the next regular meeting of the Board 8:00 p.m. in the District Office. As of now, those meetings will be via Zoom Meetings and the link will be posted on the district website and Facebook pages. Current agendas will be available for public inspection in the office of the superintendent.
