2020-21 Re-opening COVID-19 Resolution
Rationale:
KSB School Law recommends boards consider passing a "re-opening" resolution related to COVID-19. The following resolution states the following in summary:
1) The site for instruction will be "in-person" with accommodations being made for students with specific documented needs or conditions. 2) The use of masks for the staff or students will be recommended but not required unless otherwise directed by authorities. 3) The district will work with staff members with documented conditions regarding health needs and leave will be handled according to the law or contract. This resolution expires at the conclusion of the 2020-21 school year.

Transfer from General to Depreciation Fund
Rationale:
Boards are allowed to move funds from the general fund to the depreciation fund. This is usually done in August if the cash balance of the general fund allows for the transfer. The reason for the transfer or purpose for the fund must be stated in the motion. Depreciation funds are meant to offset the ongoing repair and replacement costs of the district.

Icon (Trane) Invoice - Depreciation Fund
Rationale:
Attached is the invoice related to Trane's summer project for the windows and plumbing camera inspection. It is my recommendation to pay this invoice using depreciation funds.
