Action Items
|
Confirmation of Depreciation Funds Use
Rationale:
As a matter of housekeeping, the Board should confirm the use of Depreciation funds to pay invoices for the Summer 2020 project with Trane. When the project was approved in the spring of 2020, using the Depreciation fund was discussed but not recognized in a formal Board motion. The project total was $68,917.

Roof Sections 6 & 8 Replacement
Rationale:
Guarantee Roofing has provided a proposal/bid to replace sections 6 and 8 of the roof. These sections were identified as the highest priority for replacement by the independent roof inspection provided by Heartland Roofing through Trane.
Guarantee did excellent work for us on the gym roof. This proposal is well under the $100,000 mark that requires the district to advertise for competitive sealed bids for construction based projects. Approving the bid now locks in this price as Guarantee has been notified their supply costs will increase this spring. The plan would be to complete sections 6 and 8 replacement starting in late May 2020.

These trainings will be conducted by KSB Law Firm and facilitated through our Esu in the near future. Please see the attached document that contains all policies to be revised as recommended by NASB. Policies 404.06 and 504.18 are new Title IX Discrimination policies.
