Rationale:
The board must act on the proposed budget as presented during the Budget Hearing. The board has the following 3 options: 1) Approve the Budget as proposed and previously published; 2) Make changes to the published budget then vote to adopt; or 3) Vote to postpone the motion to consider the budget in order to further consider the budget.

Property Tax Resolution for 2019-20
Rationale:
The board is required to take action to set the final tax request as it relates to the 2019-20 budget as adopted. The tax request resolution, as provided by NDE, contains all necessary tax and levy information for the budget for boards to legally comply with the law pertaining to setting the levy for 2019-20.
