Teacher/Staff MacBook Pros - ESSER III
Rationale:
The teacher/staff laptops are 4 years old and due to be re-freshed. Apple has provided a quote of $113,620.00 for 65 MacBook pro computers. Bethany, along with our ESU17 Tech support team, continue to recommend the teachers stick with the MacBook pro devices. While they are a bit more in cost than the MacBook Airs (student computers) they are better suited for the needs of the teachers and staff.
As discussed previously, we aim to utilize ESSER III dollars on items to address the equity of learning for all students as well as help our overall budget. Using ESSER III dollars allows us to move forward with this need for our staff which benefits students as well and is beneficial to the budget.
