Substitute Teacher & Substitute Para Pay for 2024-25
Rationale:
The last time we raised our sub pay was in the fall of 2021. We have been at $135 for teacher subs and $100 for para subs since 2021. In order to maintain a comparable pay rate, it is recommended we raise teacher subs to $145 per day and para subs to $110 per day for 2024-25.

Approval of Bus Routes for 2024-25
Rationale:
Overall, it is recommended we keep the same routes in place as the 2023-24 school year for Long Pine and Johnstown. Johnstown route points will be Rauscher Avenue and the Methodist Church.
Long Pine will be different until the HWY 20 Bridge project is completed. Until the bridge is open, we will pick up and drop off at the entrance of the Long Pine State Rec Area by permission from the Game and Parks Commission. Parents and/or students may not leave vehicles at the state rec area entrance. Once the bridge is open, we will resume pick up and drop off in Long Pine by the Palace. Our Long Pine bus is too heavy for the detour bridge, which is the main reason for the adjustment until the bridge is open. |
