The BOE is recognizing the Custodial Department of our district. These individuals are often unsung heroes. They keep our buildings and facilities clean and safe. They work behind the scenes. While we do our daily work and routines, they see that the physical plant is ready and working for us. But, just let something not be available, work correctly, or be ready. Who do we immediately curse and discuss? We do not praise and say thanks often enough. Tonight, the BOE recognizes the BCS Custodial Staff.

Board members are community leaders, and leaders often need support and guidance in their roles and responsibilities. The NASB exists to do just that. Membership in NASB is vital to the health and well-being of the district. This professional organization provides programs, services, and advocacy to strengthen public education for all Nebraskans. It focuses on the leadership and advocacy of the Board of Education at the local, state, and national levels.
