Recognize Kayla Flatt, Sycamore Elementary School teacher, for being named as 1 of 51 recipients nationwide of the first-ever national University System-Sanford Teacher Award for receiving $10,000 for demonstrating her commitment to creating inspirational and harmonious classroom supporting student development and achievement; and thus qualifying for a chance to be recognized as the national winner of the Sanford Teacher Award to be named in early 2019.
