3. Public Forum: Reception of Delegates-A time limit of three minutes will be set for individual speakers on a given topic. A total time limit of thirty minutes will be set for all speakers on a given topic, with an effort to provide equal time for pros, cons, and neutral opinions.

4.7. Special Recognition-Plattsmouth High School Marching Blue Devils-On Oct. 8, 2016, the marching Blue Devils competed with nine other class A, B, C, and D schools from around the region at the 3rd Annual Bennington Marching Invitational. This year, Plattsmouth High School received a Superior rating (the highest possible), an award for Outstanding Percussion, and the Overall High Score for the day. A picture is attached of our drum majors (Shannon McKinley and Lucas Powell) and color guard captains (Alene Groenjes and Leslie Jimenez) with the awards.

4.8. Special Recognition-Plattsmouth High School Marching Blue Devils-Superior rating (Division I) at the Nebraska State Bandmasters Association (NSBA) State Marching Contest. This is the third year in a row that our marching band has earned a superior rating.
|

4.9. Special Recognition-All-State Band-Samuel Babe (tuba). All-State Jazz Band-Griff Gillen (alternate for piano).
|
|
4.10. Special Recognition-All-State Choir-Tim Schreiber (Bass I), Grace Roby (alternate for Alto I), and Casey Scott (alternate for Tenor II).

4.11. Special Recognition-State Cross Country-PHS Girls (10th place) and Autumn Graham (14th place). Boys- Chris Casart (12th place).

4.12. Special Recognition-Keryl Mines, LCSW, was selected as the 2016 Nebraska School Social Worker of the Year by the Midwest School Social Work Council.
