Special Recognition: Nebraska DECA State Career Development ConferencePlattsmouth seniors Grant Kathol and Justin Krug earned third place in the Sports & Entertainment Operations Research contest. They qualified for next month’s International Career Development Conference (ICDC).athol and Krug also placed fifth in the Sports & Entertainment Team Decision Making contest. They collected second place in the role play #2 portion of the category.
Evelyn Bradshaw earned an eighth-place medal in the Food Marketing event. Lexi Penke captured first place in the role play #1 portion of the Sports & Entertainment Marketing Individual Series contest.
Josie Ritzman and Sydnee Bell collected a pair of awards during the conference. They finished second in the 100-question exam portion of the Advertising Campaign event. They also earned a fourth-place honor in the written project portion of the Advertising Campaign contest.
