4. Adopt the 2024-2025 Budget for Sutherland Public School
Rationale:
AT 6:00 pm, Carl Deitz will present the 24-25 budget to the Board. At 6:30 the Budget Hearing will convene. Following the budget hearing, the Special Hearing to set the final tax request will convene. Following that, the Special Board meeting will be opened to Adopt the 24-25 Budget, and set the Final Tax Rate Request for the 24-25 school year.
Zoom meeting with NSBA to discuss Superintendent Search.
Recommended Motion(s):
Motion to Approve the 2024-2025 Sutherland School Budget: General Fund $8,000,000, Depreciation Fund $1,177,534; Employee Benefit Fund $67,740; Activities Fund $374,231; School Nutrition Fund $272,481; and Special Building Fund $650,276.00. passed with a motion by Board Member #1 and a second by Board Member #2.

5. Resolution Setting the Property Tax Request for the 2024-2025 Sutherland Public School Year.
Recommended Motion(s):
Motion to approve the Sutherland Public School 2024-2025 Property Tax Request and Levy amounts set at: General Fund: $4,559,845.00/Levy 0.928462 and the Special Building Fund: $191,919.00/Levy 0.039078 for a total of $4,751,764.00/Levy 0.967540 passed with a motion by Board Member #1 and a second by Board Member #2.
