The Scholastic Art Awards of Nebraska is a statewide visual Art competition hosted by the Omaha Public Schools. This year, due to the pandemic the exhibition of student work is virtual. Student work was evaluated by a panel of judges compiling evidence from three areas: Originality, Technical Skill, & Emergence of a Personal Voice or Vision. Students were awarded three levels of awards; Gold Key, Silver Key, and Honorable Mention. All students winning a Gold Key Award advance to Nationals of the Scholastic Art Awards. These two students have won national medals and will be honored June 6th in Carnegie Hall.
