The Bellevue East Chieftain Marching Band and the Bellevue West Thunderbird Marching Band competed in the Wildcat Classic at Buell Stadium September 17th. Bellevue East placed 2nd in 4A, 2nd overall, tied for 1st in the caption of general effect, and won the caption of visual performance. Bellevue West placed 1st overall, 1st in music, 1st in effect, 1st in percussion, 2nd in Visual and 2nd in guard.

The Bellevue East Chieftain Marching Band & Bellevue West Thunderbird Marching Band competed on September 24th in Des Moines, Iowa at the Bands of America Regional Competition. Bellevue West placed third in their class in prelims with best visual effects, and won 3rd place overall in finals. Bellevue East placed 4th in their class in prelims and 7th overall in finals.
