Rationale:
This is a legal meeting of the board of education, as advertised by the means specified in board policy. A complete copy of the Open Meetings Act is posted in the board room for your review. A copy of the agenda is available at the desk of the recording secretary.

3.2. Discuss, Consider, and Take Action to Approve the Bid for High School Band Uniforms
Rationale:
We received one qualifying bid from Fruhauf Uniforms, Inc. for the replacement of 180 band uniforms in the amount of $86,989.90. These are high quality uniforms with a 12 year guarantee. Our current uniforms were made by Fruhauf and have been in place the past 14 years. Funds for these uniforms will come from our Student Fee Fund, Activities Fund, and General Fund.
Recommended Motion(s):
I am recommending to the Board of Education to accept the bid from Fruhauf Uniforms, Inc. in the amount $86,989.90 for new band uniforms. passed with a motion by Board Member #1 and a second by Board Member #2.

3.3. Approve Claim to Fruhauf Uniforms, Inc
Rationale:
This is a special claim approval for the band uniform order. In order to get the production of these uniforms started as early as possible so the district can have them by August 1st, I am asking the Board of Education to approve the claim for the new uniforms.
Recommended Motion(s):
I recommend to Board of Education to approve the claim as posted for the purchase of new band uniforms. passed with a motion by Board Member #1 and a second by Board Member #2.

3.4. Discuss, Consider and Take Action to Approve the sale of our old (current) band uniforms
Rationale:
There is some interest in the purchasing of some of current band uniforms that are being replaced. After visiting with Mr. Cook we would like to ask $25 per uniform. The proceeds from the sale of these uniforms would be deposited in our activities account and then put towards the purchase of the new uniforms.

Motion to Approve the sale of our old band uniforms passed with a motion by Board Member #1 and a second by Board Member #2.

4. Future Meetings
Rationale:
Our next Board meeting is scheduled for Monday, March 14th. The Study Session will begin at 5:30 and will be followed by the Regular Business meeting at 6:30. All components of the meeting will be open to the public and will be held at the City Administration Offices.
