Rationale:

2.1. Approve bid for maintenance vehicle #1 (3/4 ton 4x4 Heavy duty truck)
Rationale:
Norfolk Public Schools received the following bids for a new 3/4 ton 4x4 Heavy duty truck for maintenance.
Recommended Motion(s):
I recommend to the Board of Education to make a motion to accept the low bid from Courtesy Ford in the amount of $26,035 for the new 3/4 ton 4x4 truck. This will be paid by our general fund vehicle acquisition line. passed with a motion by Board Member #1 and a second by Board Member #2.

2.2. Approve bid for maintenance vehicle #2 (1/2 ton 4x4 truck).
Rationale:
Norfolk Public Schools received the following bids for a 1/2 ton 4x4 truck. This truck is a replacement truck for one of our 1/2 ton trucks that was totaled during the hail storm.
1. Courtesy Ford - (2015 Ford F-150) $26,535 2. Cornhusker Auto - (2014 Dodge 1500) $26,854 3. Norfolk GM - (2015 Chevy Silverado 1500) - $27,850
Recommended Motion(s):
I recommend to the board of education to make a motion to accept the low bid from Courtesy Ford in the amount of $26,535. This will be paid by our general fund and also partially by our insurance claim on the totaled truck. passed with a motion by Board Member #1 and a second by Board Member #2.
