3.1. Interview 5 candidates for the Superintendent position (possible executive session to prevent unnecessary damage to individuals)

Discuss, consider and take all necessary action to select a person to fill the office of Superintendent for Northwest Public Schools under a contract commencing July 1, 2019 and approve the contract of employment for such Superintendent (recommend executive session to negotiate salary and benefit package).
Recommended Motion(s):
Northwest Public Schools Board should, and does hereby, select ______ to fill the office of Superintendent for Northwest Public Schools under a contract commencing July 1, 2019 and should, and does hereby approve the contract of employment of such Superintendent, incorporated by this reference and maininted in the records of the School District, and authorizes and directs the President of the Northwest Public Schools Board to execute the contract of employment and post such contract on the School District's website and a reasonable estimate and description of all current and future costs that will be incurred as a result of such contract pursuant to the Superintendent Pay Transparency Act, Neb. Rev. Stat 79-2401 to 7-2405. This motion, made by Board Member #1 and seconded by Board Member #2, Passed.
