9.2. Replacement of JD bagger mower through the Depreciation Fund

The mower to be replaced was purchased in March 2005 and has 1800+ hours on it. This mower is used to mow the football field and playground. It has begun to burn oil. The funds would come from the Depreciation Fund.

9.3. Declaration of Football For the Next Two Year Cycle
Rationale:
This was tabled from last meeting, just a reminder: Football is now being classified by male enrollment in grades 9-11. For us that projected number will be 39 (Actual) for 2018 and 38 for 2017, 34 for 2019, and 24 for 2020. The eligibility cut offs are 27 and lower for 6-Man, and 47 and lower for 8-man. Therefore, here are our choices to consider:
Some things to consider (A) There is no guarantee that the NSAA would schedule all of our 6-man games close, and therefore we could be playing teams that are 4-5 hours away. There are 6-man schools that do not have lights and the game would have to be played at 3:00 pm. In fact, many of the games in 6-man are played at 3:00pm. (B) There is no guarantee that if we went to D2 that we wouldn't have a long road schedule. (C) There is also no guarantee with the 8-man schedule that we may not have to play games at 3:00 pm or possibly on a Saturday or Thursday. There is a bigger and bigger shortage of Football officials. (D) Finally, I will continue to try and schedule Volleyball and Football Games together as that really does bring in more fans, and sometimes a bigger atmosphere.
