2017-2018 Prices

Lunch prices have remained the same during the 2015-2016 and 2016-2017 school years. |
8.9. Consider, Discuss and Approve a Usage Fee for the Weight Room and Alt. Gym
Rationale:
Over the past year we have had more and more people coming in to get key fobs for the weight room. With that we have incurred more and more expense for the key fobs, and we rarely if ever have them returned if someone is done using the weight room. We have also been incurring more and more expense in terms of damage to equipment from people using the weight room. This year we had somewhere between $500 and $1000 in equipment repairs. We also had another bar bent throughout the year by someone who is lifting too much weight and then leaving that weight on the bar. I feel we need to start charging an annual usage fee for the weight room for each key fob owner. My suggestion would be $50 a year, and everyone that currently has a key fob will have their shut off next month and have to fill out another facility usage form and pay the annual fee to have their fob reinstated. The only people exempt would be staff members, and board members, if we wish to exempt anyone.
Finally, I would like to note/remind anyone that does have a key fob that students still in school should NOT be using that fob to go into the gym or weight room unsupervised. This poses a liability risk to the school, as these students are still under our care. If they are going with their parent that is okay, but the parent should not be sending them with their fob, or opening the weight room and leaving. |
8.10. Consider, Discuss and Approve Contract with Providence Working Canines for Safety Sweeps During the 2018-2019 School Year
