2019-2020 Insurance Premium
Rationale:
The building committee met with our insurance carrier. Discussion was held on the coverage that the district receives. During that discussion, it became apparent that we maybe need to look at contents of a couple buildings, but we felt comfortable with the coverage overall.
We saved around $20,000 due to our workman comp number. Our worker comp number is at .88 as opposed to 1.44. This number is established by a national group. Anything below 1 is the goal.1.00 is your base.
Recommended Motion(s):
Motion by Board Member #1 Motion to approve the insurance bid form Gregory's Insurance as presented at a cost of $103,694 Seconded by Board Member #2 Motion carried. |
2019 Summer Carpet and Tile Bid
Rationale:
Jim Miles gathered quotes for tile and replacement at the school.
The elementary carpet replacement is in two of the rooms that would not be effected by the construction. They are two of the larger rooms now. The committee recommendation is in the motion-to approve Morford's bid and get them scheduled to be here
Recommended Motion(s):
Motion by Board Member #1 Motion to approve the bid from Morford's at a cost of $29,625 to replace tile and carpet at the school Seconded by Board Member #2 Motion carried.
