Rationale:

1. Congratulations and thank you to ALL Hastings Public Schools employees who made this year's Hastings Public Schools Foundation Staff Campaign one for the record books. 2026 marks the highest level of participation and donations ever. We are so grateful for a staff who - on top of everything they do every day for HPS - is willing to give back to make the district even stronger.
2. Longfellow Elementary had the highest percentage of participation in donations for the HPS Foundation. We are very honored to support our students and staff! Longfellow staff are grateful to the First Christian Church for their large donation of snacks, clothes, hygiene supplies, and school supplies. We appreciate our community's thoughtfulness and generosity! We also are very proud of our students' acts of good character. In the last month our students received 1,079 LEAP tickets for demonstrating our school expectations of Living with Integrity, Earning and Giving Respect, Acting Responsibly and Practicing Compassion. We will celebrate as a school by having a silly socks day on Friday. Our Longfellow Character Program is going strong! With best regards, Longfellow School. |
