2.  Cargill Employee Meeting:  Tuesday beginning at 9:00 AM.  6-45 minute sessions.

3.  Behavior Management Discussion:  We need to review/discuss our process for engaging teachers in student management and the administration's role in supporting this process.

     a.  Teachers are responsible for managing student behavior in their classrooms.  They are responsible for removing students who refuse to comply in the classroom.  If a student is sent to the office, the teacher must meet with the student and make arrangements for returning to the classroom the next day.  Guidance counselors and administrators are to assist in making sure the teacher and student have time to meet.  Once the student and teacher have the issue resolved, the principal or guidance counselor will be in the classroom to monitor the student's return to the classroom.

     b.  The asst. principal/principal will take measures to deal with students who are frequent referrals or who demonstrate aggressive behavior.  Suspensions, and Saturday School or a combination of the two will be used to deter inappropriate behavior.

4.  Lunch Balance:  1st Semester Lunch Balances need to be paid.  Please review lunch balances in each building.  Remember, we said a maximum of $20. 

5.  Strategic Planning Update: The community Leaders meeting is scheduled for Tuesday, January 3rd.  All staff will meet on Wednesday, January 4th to give final input for board consideration.
