August 23, 2013 at 1:30 PM - Warrior Wellness Committee

Discussion:  Our Warrior Wellness Meeting was held today from 1:30-2:00 at SMS . Present: Marlene Hartman,Shari Freeman, Paula Kment, Sue Steffensmeier, Jayne Hlavac, Dan Hoesing, and Carol Reha The Personal Health Assessment will be done online from Nov.4-22. Lifeline Screening will be done at SMS (a central location) on Dec 6th, more info to come later. We are looking for members to attend the EHA Wellness Conference in Kearney on Sept 26th. The fee will be covered by EHA. Please let me know if you are interested, it would be great if several could go! Please respond as soon as possible. I will send an email out to the district to see who would interested in covering Shane's position. We will have quarterly meetings. The next meeting will be Oct 11th in the SMS conference room at 2:15 pm. Please bring new idea's to promote wellness, one suggestion was to have a healthy pot luck day, bringing only healthy foods or using EHA recipes! Thanks Lauri, for this idea!
