I. Discussion Items
Rationale:
1. Budget and Finance: See enclosed finance report. 2. BC/BS Insurance: Employees who contribute to their BC/BS health/dental insurance plans must write the checks to Schuyler Community Schools beginning in July. BC/BS will no longer accept personal checks for additional coverage. 3. Summer Employment: We will have many opportunities for support staff to be considered for summer employment in custodial, food service, and each of the summer sessions. See Dr. Gibbons if you want to be considered for summer employment. 4. 2019-20 Contracts: The board of education is reviewing the support staff salary schedule and will approve support staff contracts for the 2019-20 school year on Monday, May 13th. 5. Requisitions/Inventory: 2019-20 requisitions are due May 1st, and inventory must be updated before June 1st. 6. Workman's Comp Requirements: Remember, you are required to complete 3 professional development videos. Please complete these prior to June 1st. 7. Inclement Weather Days for support staff: All support staff were paid for two of the five inclement weather days. However, they are still 3 contract days short. The following options are theirs to choose. 1. Take the three days without pay. 2. Use PTO or sick leave for the non-paid days 3. Arrange with their supervisor to work up to 2 additional days. All additional days worked must have an administrator signature for approval. |
