Discussion from new principals on their first 3 days of APL Training
1. Professional Reading: (Walk a While in My Shoes): a. On the joys of the job & On loyalty and job security 2. Requisition/Inventory: Thank you for your work on recording an accurate inventory for your teachers and your buildings. I will run the report for the auditors next week when they come to work on our audit for 2019-20 school year. 3. 2020-21 Teacher Incentive Program: We have had one meeting with SEA on the 2021-22 Certificated Contracts and the 2020-21 Incentive program. Discussion and Ideas for us to consider proposing to the SEA and board of education. (Remote teaching, Teaching College Credit) 5. First Quarter Outstanding Staff: Thank you for working with the Foundation and Chamber on the first quarter outstanding teacher, para-educator, and support staff recipients. They have been contacted and will be at the district office on Friday morning to receive this recognition during our morning ALL-Staff Zoom. Remember, we have ordered 20 dozen doughnuts for Friday morning. Principals please make sure someone from your building is available to take these to your building. 6. Gallup Strength's Finder: Dr. Gibbons will prepare a list of your staff along with their strengths for you to share with your staff. We will visit about this program on Monday SAA. 7. Required Staff Training: Over the next two weeks, we hope to have the majority of the required trainings completed with all staff. State/Federal required trainings and who needs to do them:

8. 2020 Strategic Plan: Attached below is the 2020 Strategic Plan. We need to begin updating our progress on the identified Action Plans. See attached document. 9. 2021 Strategic Plan: We need to discuss the process for receiving input (Thoughtexchange) and prioritizing Action Plans for the 2021 Strategic Plan.
