Carol Reha: COVID Report 11/16/20 Schuyler Community Schools ORANGE Colfax County ORANGE Review preliminary staff/student COVID Report. I will attach the Monday report at noon today. Review teacher/staff absence/fill rates and discuss options for filling this gap. Professional Reading: (Walk a While in My Shoes): "EMPATHY" 1. Probationary Teacher Evaluations: All probationary teachers are required to have one full observation and evaluation completed during each semester of their first three years. This observation must be for a full-class period. Please make sure you have a signed copy in their file. 2. Administrator Evaluations: All of your evaluations are posted and collaboration is open for you to work with Dr. Gibbons to input your growth for first semester. Please have these updated by December 1st. 3. 2020-21 Teacher Incentive Program: The SEA will meet with the board on Monday, November 16th to discuss the 2021-22 Certificated Contracts and the 2020-21 Incentive program. Discussion on the work required for remote learners with zoom instruction. 4. 2020 Strategic Plan Report: Finalize the 2020 Strategic Planning Report. This will be sent out to all staff after our Wednesday strategic planning meeting. 5. Required Safety Training: Dr. Gibbons will provide an update on staff progress on required trainings. 6. Health Screens: Carol Reha has organized health screens again on the morning of the strategic planning meeting, January 18th. The meeting is setup to allow individuals to leave for their screen, and return to the professional development workshops. 7. 2021 Strategic Plan Process: Discussion on the process for receiving input (Thoughtexchange) and prioritizing Action Plans for the 2021 Strategic Plan. 8. 2021-22 Calendar: Dave will create a draft of the 2020-21 School Calendar. We will begin discussion on this calendar in December. |
