January 9, 2014 at 2:00 PM - Food Service Meeting

Rationale:  1.  Budget/Finance Review:  See enclosed budget information.

2.  First Semester Program Review:  Discuss first semester program highlights and concerns.  We visited about Jeff initiating input from staff at the different buildings in the district.

3.  Strategic Plan Input Results:  See Attached information.  Jeff will make sure he goes to each building over the next month and visit with staff about the food service program and answer any questions they may have at this point in the school year.

4.  Ice Machine and Salad Bar:  Jeff requested an ice machine at the middle school and a new salad bar at the high school building.  He shared that there may be support from an outside agency to help with the cost.  He will get bids and get them to central office for ordering.

5.  Water Softener:  The question was asked about who's responsibility it is to maintain water systems and keep salt in the containers.  The cost of the salt has been charged to food service, but the maintenance will remain with our custodial crews in each building.

4.  Support Staff Meeting is scheduled for Friday, January 25th.  See meeting site for times and places.
