I. Discussion Items
Rationale:
1. Hiring Process: Shelley and Sally advertised the vacant positions we agreed to open at this time. Please make sure you have your position descriptions and interview questions for each position. Shelley will have the district information for you when you begin your interviewing. There has been some discussion and requests for consideration from current staff, please let them know we need to review our candidates prior to honoring staff requests. We need to hire the best candidates and if it works to move current staff, you will do your best to accommodate their requests.
2. Tenure Recommendation: Dr. Hoesing will present the list of teachers offered their 4th contract to the board for tenure approval at the April board meeting. 2. Requisitions: Many of your staff have started filling out their ESU requisition forms. We will not do anything with these orders until the entire order for your building has been completed after April 5th. Please encourage your staff and providing some time on Fridays to complete their requisitions online. 3. Strategic Planning: The board of education signed up for each of the strategic planning areas.
