Transportation Program Committee:  Chuck Misek, Eric Cerny, Brian Vavricek

Goal:  Safe and efficient transportation system

Target Area:

1. Develop a transportation system and vehicle replacement plan

   Strategy:        Develop a vehicle replacement cycle and budget plan.    (April 2014)

   Strategy:        Develop a system to manage transportation requests, vehicle assignment, maintenance schedule, and vehicle mileage reports.     (May 2014)

    

2. Provide safe routes to schools (Sidewalks, streets, etc…)

   Strategy:        In coordination with the City of Schuyler, develop a plan to improve safe routes to school at the elementary building.     (June 2014)

    

3. Provide a K-5 transportation program

Strategy:        Develop a proposal to provide inter-city transportation program for students. (July 2014)

Strategy:        Develop and implement an after-school program to stagger release times and improve traffic flow at the elementary building.     (Sept. 2014)
