Communication Effort Respect Responsibility Belief One Good Thing! COVID-19 Update We are still operating in the "ORANGE" due to increased illness across the district. Orange requires masking of employees and students, along with increased efforts on disinfecting and sanitizing. Thank you for your continued effort to limit the spread of illness in the district. According to our Return-to-Learn Plan, we are operating in "ORANGE" January 28th or until our absentee numbers drop allowing us to relax this mandate. Due to the way the calendar falls, Dr. Gibbons found the calendar has 184 instead of 185 days. We will discuss your thoughts and ask the building administrators to begin discussion with their building staff. We will need to have this calendar recommendation to the board for their March Meeting. 2. 2022 STRAT Plan Update: Discussion on recommended updates and draft of 2022 strategic plan. See attached ThoughtExchanges. SAA Meeting Professional Reading: (Getting Better Faster). Mr. Zavadil and Mr. Banahan 1. 2022-23 Teacher/Program Needs: Please focus on your current teacher positions at this time. Staffing/program changes for 2022-23 will need to be completed and submitted to me by February 18th. We will consider your recommended certified staff changes once we confirm program changes for the 22-23 school year. 2. Teacher Observations and Evaluations: Please make sure any teachers in need of intensive support have a plan to work on for improvement. You need to check-in every two weeks to see how they are progressing.
