Communication Effort Respect Responsibility Belief One Good Thing! COVID-19 Update We are currently operating in the "GREEN" due to the low level illness across the district. Thanks for your continued effort to keep our kids and staff in school. Student COVID+ - 0 1. 2022-23 Calendar: Continue discussion on the first semester calendar for 22-23. We will need to have this calendar recommendation to the board for their March Meeting. 2. 2022 STRAT Plan Update: Continue final recommendations on the action plans for the 2022 strategic plan. Kady and I have a zoom meeting scheduled on Wednesday with Liz on a possible confidence survey prior to sending it on to the board. Will let you know next steps after that meeting. Academic Programs: Dave Gibbons School Activities Programs: Travis Steinhoff Technology Programs: Jeff Droge Transportation: Dan Hoesing Buildings and Grounds: Dan Hoesing Support Programs: Jesse Zavadil School Governance: Dan Hoesing School Climate: Joey Lefdal 3. 2022-23 Teacher/Program Needs: Based on the 2022 strategic planning considerations, please review and share with me additional or reduction of staff needs in your buildings. We will consider your recommended staff changes once we confirm program changes for the 22-23 school year. 4. Teacher Observations and Evaluations: Please make sure any teachers in need of intensive support have a plan to work on for improvement. You need to check-in every two weeks to see how they are progressing. 5. Early Retirement Eligibility: In December, I sent the updated list of eligible teachers for the early retirement program. Please remind your staff, if they have any interest in being considered for the early retirement program, they need to get their applications in to Penny by March 1, 2022. 5. February Support Staff Meetings: Schuled for Friday, February 25th. 2:15 Food Service/Maintenance/Custodial 2:45 Para Educators/Office Staff 3:30 SEA Building Reps Please remind your staff of these scheduled meetings. 6. Administrator Contracts: Due to changes in high school administration at the end of the 1st semester, the board will postpone action on your 202-23 contracts until Monday, April 11th. However, I will begin discussions with you on your 2022-23 contracts this month. 7. March P-T Conferences: Jamie told me they were planning a taco bar for the March P-T Conference noon meal. 8. COOP Purchase: Sally will send out the notice to staff on the COOP Requisitions. These are due March 21st (one month).
