Communication - Belief Effort Respect Responsibility One Good Thing! COVID/Illness Report: The CDC is updating their COVID-19 Information. Tori will keep us informed of any changes to our plans or protocols. District Leadership Team: We have expanded the leadership team to include the directors from ASP, Business, Food Service, Facilities/Transportation. 2. CKH and APL Training Update: CKH New Staff and Support Staff is scheduled for October 18-19. APL for new staff is scheduled for January 16-18. The last two days are in May. 3. District/Building Websites: Kady met with building reps last week to begin the training process for Apptegy, Thrillshare, calendars, gallery images, live feeds, etc. ROOMS training is Wednesday, September 7th at 1:30 PM. 4. FlieMaker Portal: All administrators should be in the right place with the right access. Please make sure you are able to get into the system to do your work. Also, review the FileMaker Portal and staff access to all district programs. Kady and I worked on the portal and is available for all teachers/administrator access. 5. iObservation Portal: Dr. Gibbons will be out to help you setup your teacher observation/coaching model. 6. Safety: Please complete your Threat Assessment Training this week. The district leadership team board members, and Chief of Police and County Sheriff will be offered this training as well. Please let me know if you want to participate. There is also a two-day safety training offered by NDE (September 7-8). Please let Dr. Lefdal know if you are interested in attending. 7. Transportation Update: We are still short bus drivers. Thanks for your patience as you work on van/bus needs that are not on our regular routes or activity trips. 8. Gallup Strength's Finder: Dr. Gibbons is getting codes for new staff to complete the strength's Finder Survey. Your new staff will need to complete these online. Dr. Gibbons will provide you with access or a copy of your present and new staff strengths. Please make sure you work with your staff during PLC's on recognizing these strengths and using them in your programs. 9. New Hires: Review of current staff and additional needs. Please check the upcoming school board meeting to make sure resignations/new hires are listed. The board will approve new hires on September 12th. 10. Upcoming School Board Meetings: 6:30 PM September 12th: Budget Hearing and regular school board meeting. 11. District Program Meetings: We are working on dates and times for our monthly support staff meetings. The custodial and food service staff meeting with be on the last Friday of the month at 1:30 PM. Staff will be able to attend at the district office or via zoom. The support staff meeting will be on the last Friday of the month at 2:15 via zoom. SEA will meet in person at the board room at 3:00 PM. 12. Rule 10 Requirements: (Reminder) Rule 10 building reports are due to the superintendent this week. You only have to submit the Rule 10 information if you DO NOT meet the requirement. If you don't meet in an area, you must include the reason. 13. SPARQDATA Portal: Review access to all district meetings, board policies, etc... 14. Board Reports: Administration reports due for the regular September board meeting (Due Wednesday, September 7th).
