I. Discussion Items
Rationale:
1. Safety Review and Training: The 2022-23 Safety Audit is complete. We received updated building manuals, but are waiting for the additional "lock out" page for the wall charts. 2. Strategic Plan Update: The board of education approved the 2023 Strategic Plan at their February board meeting. 3. ECRA Site: We use the ECRA Program from Michigan State to manage our Strategic Plan Progress. This site is on our website and the data portal is managed to reflect progress in the areas identified in our strategic plan. 4. 2023-24 School Calendar: We will be taking final recommendations today to present to the board committee on the 2023-24 school calendar. Attend the support staff or certified staff meetings today if you have any recommendations for the calendar. 5. Summer Employment: We will have many opportunities for support staff to be considered for summer employment in custodial, food service, and each of the summer sessions. See your building principal if you want to be considered for summer employment. 6. Requisitions/Inventory: COOP Requisitions are due on March 21st. Please make sure you use the COOP orders for general classroom supplies. This catalog offers bulk pricing with no shipping costs. Other requisitions are due April 30th, and inventory must be updated before June 1st. 7. Building/Summer Projects: We are working on the 2023 update to the transportation and building and grounds programs. See File Maker: Buildings and Grounds, Vehicle Replacement, and Large Equipment Replacement. 8. Hiring Process for 2023-24 Staff: Principals are currently advertising and interviewing candidates for open teaching positions. 9. College Loans: The Public Service Loan Forgiveness (PSLF) program is for all employees with college debt. Penny will be sending out an email with information. If you have questions, please email Penny. 10. ESSER Funds: Update on programs supported by ESSER Funds. We have had some questions about ESSER Funds. How they are spent, reimbursed, accounted for, etc... The ESSER Applications are posted on the district website. |
