August 21, 2014 at 12:00 PM - Transportation Committee Meeting

Rationale:  1.  Review proposal/bids on new car:  Ron Mundil has bids from area dealers on the school car that is on the replacement cycle for the summer of 2014.  He will bring these bids to the meeting.

2.  Review proposal/bids on a van:  Because of the regulations on vans, we have to purchase a used 12 passenger van in order to modify it to meet DMV regulations.  This is difficult to bid as the vans they are bidding are coming off the auction.  They are bidding an estimated price, to be confirmed once the vehicle is purchased at an auction.

3.  Review proposal/bids on a new bus:  Ron Mundil has the bids on the bus to replace Bus 02 that was lost in the fire last school year. 

The purpose of this meeting is to provide your recommendation to take to the entire board for approval on Monday, August 25th at the special meeting.
