I. Discussion Items
Rationale:
1. NETA Conference: Staff discussed the programs they attended at the Fall NETA Conference in Kearney last week.
2. Webpage Development: Staging site for the new webpages should be ready by October 20th and ready to be launched by November 14th. Kady will be working with building principals first on changes to their pages. 3. Tech-it Program: The tech-it program is ready for staff to submit requests for technology needs and repairs. 4. Strategic Planning Workshop: We discussed the format for the strategic planning process and how we would tabulate input from staff. We discussed the importance of making sure all staff has the access to provide input and the benefits of paper vs. electronic formats. Nothing was decided at this point, but we will be working throughout October on developing our process. 5. Middle School iPads: The iPads are in and are being programed for our staff. we are still working on the storage and charging units. 6. Parent-Teacher Conferences: Booth for parent-teacher conference to educate parents about how technology can help them especially with language barriers. |
